HAND was founded in 1991 on the principle of supporting nonprofit organizations committed to addressing housing affordability. The association has grown to include an array of members working in various facets of the affordable housing and community development industry. Through collaboration and innovation, HAND members are working collectively to create equitable communities across the Capital Region of Baltimore, Washington and Richmond.
