HOUSING&’s 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award goes to David Reznick, cofounder of CohnReznick LLP. Some refer to him as the God Father of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Program, a critical tool to developing and preserving affordable housing. Others say he has a great sense of humor. However, what HOUSING& knows about David is that his leadership in working with the nonprofit sector to demystify the complexities of the LIHTC program, gave organizations right here in the metropolitan region and abroad the confidence they needed to incorporate this unique financing model into their affordable housing development deals.
