On June 5, 2025, Housing& welcomed hundreds of real estate and community development professionals to the 34th Annual Meeting & Housing Expo—one of the Capital Region’s most anticipated gatherings of housing leaders and changemakers.

With the theme Housing And ____, this year’s event launched our rebrand and challenged attendees to explore the many intersections of housing—with education, health, economic opportunity, and beyond. Throughout the day, participants were invited to fill in the blank and reflect on how their work advances a more equitable and interconnected future for our region.

The day began with a powerful, policy-driven Plenary Session featuring the unveiling of the latest Housing Indicator Tool (HIT)—offering fresh data and insights on the state of housing across our region. The Housing Expo was alive with energy, as exhibitors and attendees exchanged ideas, shared resources, and forged new partnerships.

During the Awards Luncheon, Housing& celebrated the exceptional contributions of this year’s Housing Achievement Award winners, spotlighted emerging talent through the GenerationHousing& Scholarship and Children’s Essay Contest, and reflected on the collective progress made toward building thriving communities.

From seasoned leaders to the next generation of housing advocates, the 2025 Annual Meeting & Housing Expo reminded us all: while no single solution can solve the housing crisis, together—through connection, collaboration, and courage—we can transform systems and empower residents to truly thrive.

Thank you to our sponsors, partners, and the entire Housing& community for making this year’s gathering a success. We are, indeed, in this together.
