The Enhanced Weatherization program administered by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development’s Housing and Building Energy Programs provides free weatherization and health and safety services to homeowners with a household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines, and who are BGE customers whose property is outside Baltimore City. Homeowners can receive services such as lead remediation, mold remediation, insulation installation, and air sealing. These services can help to improve indoor air quality, increase home health and safety, and reduce energy costs. For more information click here. You can also view a brochure on the program here.
