On May 13, 2026, Housing& welcomed affordable housing and community development professionals from across the Capital Region to the 35th Annual Meeting & Housing Expo—celebrating 35 years of impact, collaboration, and collective action.

Centered around the theme 35 Years of Making HOMES, this year’s event reflected on Housing&’s legacy of convening and connecting cross-sector leaders while building momentum for the future of equitable housing throughout our region. Attendees gathered for a day of reflection, learning, networking, and celebration—highlighting the partnerships and shared purpose that continue to drive housing progress forward.

The day began with the plenary session, “Progress Made, Momentum Required: Aligning Data, Capital & Policy for Housing Impact,” featuring the release of Housing Indicator Tool 6.0 and a cross-sector discussion on the data, investment, and policy solutions needed to advance housing affordability across the Capital Region. Throughout the day, the Housing Expo and Awards Luncheon brought together industry leaders, advocates, and partners to exchange ideas, celebrate innovative housing achievements, and recognize the 2026 Generation& Scholarship recipient and Children’s Essay Contest winner—highlighting both the impact of today’s leaders and the promise of the next generation.

From longtime industry leaders to emerging changemakers, the 35th Annual Meeting & Housing Expo served as a powerful reminder that housing is foundational to thriving communities—and that lasting progress requires partnership, vision, and sustained action. Thank you to our sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, volunteers, partners, and the entire Housing& community for helping make this milestone gathering a success. Together, we continue building stronger communities and expanding opportunity throughout our region.
